‘Fine Art Now’ exhibition at Batley Art Gallery

A new and exciting art exhibition was recently unveiled at Batley Art Gallery and will likely appeal to those interested in art and the many different areas and subjects within the topic. The work that features in the ‘Fine Art Now’ exhibition has been produced by Group 7. Group 7 is a team of artists from Leeds Fine Art Club and the artists in this group have a range of expertise and experience in different artistic areas.

The varying experiences and skills of the artists have enabled them to produce a collection of art that features paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography and prints. The art produced reflects the current thoughts of the artists regarding current concerns and issues they believe to be of importance. This means that not only does this exhibition feature a wide range of artistic mediums but that the content explored is also varied making this exhibition highly interesting and entertaining.

Some of the artists in Group 7 work professionally with their artistic talent so it is possible that you will be able to view the work of a commercial photographer or a professional painter when visiting this exhibition too. This factor and the obvious effort and passion these artists have for their work ensures that the exhibition will be of an extremely high standard.

It is free to visit this exhibition and it is sure to be an enjoyable visit for those of all ages and all interests. ‘Fine Art Now’ will be on display at Batley Art Gallery in Batley until the 5th December 2009 but the opening hours do vary.
