A Flickr Flicnic for Leeds Photography
July 21, 2009
If you enjoy photography and love to socialise and have fun, then the Flicnic taking place in Leeds might just be the perfect day out for you. A Flickr Flicnic is designed to bring people together in order to share food, conversation, games and many photographic activities. Not only is the Flicnic about having fun but is also about the development of photographic skills and creative photography. These events can be very popular and are a firm favourite for many within the Leeds community.
If you fancy taking part in this event all you have to do is turn up. You can come on your own, with your husband or wife, partner, kids or friends, everyone is welcome.
Your level of skill and experience is also not of importance. Both amateur and professional, commercial photographers are encouraged to attend.
It is recommended that everyone brings something to eat and also their own drinks as these things will not be provided by the event organisers. You will also require your camera if you would like to take part in the photography exercises. Also, bring along any other games or items that may be suitable for an exciting day out at the park.
The next Flicnic in Leeds is taking place on Saturday 22nd August, at Chapel Allerton Park, Pasture Lane, Leeds, LS7. If the weather is not suitable for a picnic and outdoor activities on the day then the event will be relocated to somewhere indoors. Information about any relocation will be given at the park by the event organisers.
