Bramham Horse Trials photography competition winners
October 24, 2009
Around 360 keen photographers entered the recent Bramham Horse Trials photography competition and the judges were reported to be extremely impressed with the high quality of the entries.
Fiona Parsons scooped first prize in the competition with her photograph of Ruth Burnard and her horse named Goddington Haarlem. This winning image will feature on the front page of the Bramham Horse Trials programme next year. This is an incredible prize and will provide Ruth with a huge audience for her winning photograph.
Runners up in the photography competition were Carol Stevens and Stephen Robertson, both from Leeds. Their photographs of Nicola Wise and Pricewise and Pippa Funnel’s Ensign were also noticed by the judges as photographs of an impressively high standard. All of these photographers showed a great talent in equestrian photography and captured some stunning shots of horses and their riders.
Photographing animals such as horses can be a difficult task, especially if trying to capture a horse and rider whilst they are moving. If you are not skilled in photography and would like photographs like this, it could be beneficial to seek the assistance of a professional commercial photographer. Photographers working in commercial photography have the necessary equipment and skills to be able to capture the perfect photographs of horses when standing still and also when moving.
A commercial photographer in Leeds, Newcastle and other towns and cities in the UK should be able to provide you with top quality photographs of horses during all types of different activities and circumstances. Horses in the wild, horses taking part in a race, a horse and rider having a gentle walk, horses’ show jumping in competition and many more images of horses can be captured successfully in photographs by an experienced commercial photographer.
