It’s time for the Wish You Were Here photography competition once more

The Sunday Express and Old Pulteney single malt whisky have been joining together for the Wish You Were Here photography competition since 2004 and interest in this competition grows considerably each year. International photography competition won by eleven year old boy

The National Geographic recently carried out a photography competition and the winners have been revealed. There were eight winning photographers and one of these winners is eleven year old Alexander Marttunen from Vantaa. It was Alexander’s photograph titled ‘Spirit of the Bottle’ that caught the eye of the judges and impressed them. The winning photograph features a stunning image of a hermit crab that has chosen to use a piece of bottle that has been carelessly thrown away as its home.

‘Fine Art Now’ exhibition at Batley Art Gallery
