GoSnap pet photography competition

Commercial photography is not all about roomset photography, catalogue photography or corporate shots, but sometimes includes things like pet photography.

GoSnap has recently announced a new photography competition and this one will get you spending extra quality time with your favourite pets. The judges of the competition are hoping that creative photographers will manage to capture shots of their pets that reveal something about their character and personality. Pets become a part of the family and the judges would like this idea to be explored through the photographs entered. As long as the photograph features a pet, the other creative details are solely down to the photographer offering an opportunity to really get creative and test your photography skills. Any type of pet can be photographed in this competition and as long as the photograph is your own it will be accepted.

This competition is open to those who are aged over 18 years old. Anyone from anywhere within the UK is welcome to enter so it doesnâ€™t matter if you live in the middle of the countryside or a major city such as Leeds, your photography will be considered. It is also possible for photographers of varying levels of skill to enter this photography competition. An amateur photographer, a commercial photographer and even someone who has never before taken a photograph can all send in their photographs for consideration.

Entry into the GoSnap competition is free and the deadline for entrants is 30th September 2009. The winning entrant will receive an acrylic print of the winning photograph.
