New photography exhibition explores Yorkshire

March 3, 2010

Yorkshire is a popular location for those working in commercial photography because it can provide the perfect environment for a commercial photographer to work in. The stunning countryside and the hustle and bustle of the city of Leeds are often exactly what are needed when creating different promotional shots for commercial reasons.

Commercial photography in Yorkshire is big business and now a keen creative photographer has decided it is also the ideal location to feature in his latest exhibition.

‘Yorkshire, A Land Painted Silver’ is the name of the photography exhibition and is creating a lot of interest amongst those living in the Yorkshire area. The photographs in the collection are all black and white and all feature various rural locations within the county of Yorkshire.

The photographer, Daren Smith, wanted to give others an insight into the area. Smith has been working on this exhibition for eight years and is finally ready to share his work with the Yorkshire community. Photography of all types is extremely popular in Leeds and other locations in Yorkshire and this exhibition is likely to attract a lot of interest and attention.

If you are a photography lover or a creative photographer in Yorkshire, this may be an exhibition you will enjoy. Not only does it feature high quality photographs but photographs which also explore the beauty of the local area.

This exhibition is on display at Goole Museum and is running from today, 3rd March to April 2010.
